At Crossroads we desire to be a church that is always giving out of our abundance. Although the world only calculates wealth and abundance by dollars and material possessions we choose to consider our gifts, talents, time, leaders and volunteers as equally valuable resources. We believe that those resources are not given to us to create storehouses of wealth or power, but to help alleviate the pain, suffering, and need of the hurting and disenfranchised in our community. We want to be a living resource dedicated to pouring ourselves into our community.
Even though most people shy away from the church when it comes to the topic of money and finances, we want to have the discussions that show people how to maximize the use of all of the resources God blesses us with, financial and otherwise; that encourages people to give, not just to the church, but to other organizations within the community; and to increase their own standard of living using the resources at their disposal.
